The historical references inspired me to create a slim-fitting T-shirt with round neck and short set-in sleeves that end just above the elbow, a universal contemporary style for both men and women. Conceptually, I like the idea of using the Mistake Stitch Rib to emulate the pleating in Egyptian garments of antiquity. This creates a flexible, form-fitting knitted fabric that stretches to shape. Linen is perfect for the garment, with its exquisite drape, smooth texture, and suitability for all climates.
