Egyptian Pharoah Tutankhamun Doll
This Amigirumi style pattern is of Tutankhamun wearing his famous gold and blue ‘Nemes’ headdress
Instructions for making a Crook and Flail using pipe cleaners and yarn is included with this pattern
Tension is not really important – just keep it consistent and aim for a close texture – the hook size of 2.5mm is used throughout.
Most of this pattern is crocheted in rounds, except for the headdress and skirt which is crocheted in rows.
The head dress is crocheted in one colour – dark yellow – then the blue stripes are strips of chains sewn in place with back stitch/running stitch.
Yarn - Robin DK and Twilleys Goldfingering yarn in gold are used. A ball of each of the following colours is more than enough to make two or three dolls: Light brown, dark brown, white, royal blue and gold (goldfingering).
I have also designed a Nefertiti Doll. And uses the same yarn. Both patterns can be purchased together for a discount.
