If you’ve never tried tapestry crochet before, this is a really great design to start with! It teaches you how to count and shape points, and to take the worry of “what about the maths?!” out of it.

If you don’t have a stool to cover, this can also double as a really beautiful round cushion cover, or a mandala?

If you want to make this but find that your stool is larger or smaller, you can make it bigger or smaller - the increases are in multiples of ten, so it means there will be more or less flowers, or you can add more rows to the outside of the petal points. By keeping everything to a ten count increase, I’ve made it very easy for you to add or remove rows if you like.
