I love Color. I love shawls. I love Lace. but sometimes I want a large shawl with more than just one color. When you throw in lace, it gets a bit fiddly. you can either grab that variegated yarn and hope the pattern is strong enough or try to do stripes that get distorted by the lace. Fair isle certainly isn’t an option with lace, but intarsia is.
