Vintage doily pattern
Pattern on page 14. Calls for Boar’s Head cotton no. 8 or 10 and a size 16 hook
No finished size is given, nor an illustration
Stitches used: chain, sc (called double crochet) and dc (called a long stitch)
Pattern assumes thread is fastened off at the end of every round, and no instructions are given for going up rounds
Work a loop means work into the stitch
Work in hole or work in chain means work in chain space
Miss a loop means skip one stitch (chain, sc or dc)
Picture is slightly modified from written pattern
