Eildon Wood Jumper
This easy to wear yoke jumper is perfect for walking through the woodlands and searching for pinecones in autumn. It is inspired by the many areas of woodlands that lie at the foot of the Eildon Hills, in the Scottish Borders, where Samira regularly walks from her house. To get to the hilltops you go through several areas of mixed woodlands and pine plantations, all of which provide a great variety of things to collect on the way.
Crocheted seamlessly from the top down, this jumper will keep you warm, whilst its drapey fabric makes it light and comfortable to wear on the move. Worked mostly in plain double crochet, it is a relaxing crochet project, whilst the textured pinecones on the yoke and along the hem and cuffs are sure to keep you entertained.
