30¼ (33¼, 36¼, 39½, 42½,) (45½, 48¾, 51¾, 54¾)“ bust circumference (this is a figurative number based on twice the back measurement at bust level.) Cardigan shown measures 36¼”, modeled with 4” ease.

Yarn
Shibui Pebble (48% silk, 36% merino, 16% cashmere; 224 yds /25 g): Sidewalk 4 (4, 5, 5, 6,) (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins. Appx 805 (885, 965, 1055, 1135,) (1215, 1300, 1380, 1460) yds—exact yardage will vary!

Needles

Size 4 (3.5 mm) 29” circular (cir) and set of double pointed (dpns) and Size 2 (2.75 mm) 16” cir, 29” cir and dpns. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions
Markers (m); stitch holders/waste yarn; tapestry needle.

Gauge
26 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles
To save time and ensure proper fit, please take time to check gauge.

Notes
This cardigan is worked flat in one piece from the bottom up. It is split at the armholes where the fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders. After the shoulders are seamed and the collar extension is finished and sewn in, cap sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked down in the round.
