“Ein Tee Im Augarten” is a hat knitted in the round, bottom up and decorated with colourful motifs knit using the stranded method.
In creating the motifs I was inspired by the famous Viennese porcelains: I received a small Augarten plate as a wedding gift from some dear friends and it brings back sweet memories.

Sizes:
XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL.

The hat stretches up to 8 cm – 3 ¼ inches to fit up to head circumference 45 (48, 49.5, 53, 55, 58, 60.5) cm – 17 ¾ (19, 19 ½, 20 ¾, 21 ¾, 22 ¾, 23 ¾) inches.

Finished measurements:
37 (40, 41.5, 45, 47, 50, 52.5) cm – 14 ½ (16, 16 ¼, 17 ¾, 18 ½, 20, 20 ¾) inches circumference.

Yarn and needles:
JAMIESON & SMITH 2ply Jumper Weight (Fingering yarn; 100% Shetland wool: 114 m – 125 yds / 25 g – 0.88 oz. skein).
First colour: light grey (27); 1 skein (80 86, 91, 96, 102, 107, 112 m – 88 95, 100, 105, 112, 118, 123 yds);
Second colour: dark red (43); 1 skein (70 74, 79, 83, 88, 93, 97 m – 77 81, 87, 91, 97, 102, 107 yds);
Third colour: dark green (118); 1 skein (43 46, 49, 51, 54, 57, 60 m – 48 51, 54, 56, 60, 63, 66 yds);
Fourth colour: dusty pink (FC50mix); 1 skein (46 49, 52, 55, 59, 62, 65 m – 51 54, 57, 61, 65, 68, 72 yds).
Circular needles:
3 mm – US 2 ½ with an 80 cm – 32 inch cable (for the Magic Loop method) or a set of dpns.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
Tapestry needle and scissors.
1 stitch marker.

Gauge:
24 sts and 39 rows = 10 cm – 4 inches in st st (worked in the round and after blocking).

“Ein Tee Im Augarten” è un berretto lavorato in tondo dal basso verso l’alto ed è decorato con dei motivi colorati lavorato a fili passati (“stranded” in inglese).
Per la creazione dei disegni che lo decorano mi sono ispirata alle famose porcellane viennesi: ho ricevuto un piccolo piatto Augarten per il mio matrimonio da dei cari amici e lo conserve ancora come un prezioso ricordo.

“Ein Tee Im Augarten” ist eine Mütze, die von unten nach oben in die Runde gestrickt wird. Sie ist mit bunten, mit der „stranded“-Technik gestrickten Mustern verziert.
Beim Entwerfen dieser Mustern ließ ich mich vom berühmten Wiener Porzellan inspirieren. Zum Hochzeit schenkten mir liebe Freunde einen kleinen Augarten-Teller, der in mir schöne Erinnerungen weckt.

Größen:
XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL und XXXL.

Die Mütze lässt sich bis zu 8 cm dehnen und passt somit für einen Kopfumfang von 45 (48, 49.5, 53, 55, 58, 60.5) cm.
