Meet Eira Owl.
Her name (pronounced Ay-ra) means snow in Welsh, which is quite fitting as she is a snowy owl! You may notice she bears somewhat of a resemblance to her famous relative, who went to a certain witchcraft and wizardry school… although Eira isn’t quite as well known, she’s just as devoted & courageous, and she takes her position as post owl very seriously.

Using the recommend yarn and materials (as seen in the 3rd picture) your finished owl will be approximately 6” from the tips of her toes to top of her head.
However, as gauge is not important with this project, she can be made with any weight yarn you choose! Please be aware, if you choose to substitute a different weight yarn the materials needed to finish the project (hook size, yardage, and safety eye size) will all need to be adjusted accordingly.
