This is the matching hat to my Eisbaer cowl, Eisbaer mitts and Eisbaer socks

This hat will fit a head with a circumference of 21-22’’ (53-55cm).
You can adjust the size by adjusting the gauge: a larger needle size for a larger hat, and a smaller needle size for a smaller hat.

Total length: 24cm from CO edge, 3cm ribbing, 21cm body and crown

You need 2 colors of sport weigth yarn with strong contrast. The sample is worked with Mominoki German Merino light, col. Hickory and Butter. The pompom is worked with Tuku fingering, col. Polte

Amounts needed for this project: ca 45-50g for the hat and 15g for the pompom.
MC (hickory): ca 25g, CC (butter): ca 20g. Pompon 15g.
Gauge: 24sts, 28rnds with needle 3.5mm in colorwork

Needles and tools: US2/2.75mm and US4/3.5mm DPNs or long circular needles of same sizes, tapestry needle, scissors, 4 stitch markers. Optional: pompom maker.
