Diese Socken werden in Runden von oben nach unten mit einer klassischen Käppchenferse gearbeitet, durchgehend im zweifarbigen Muster laut Diagramm.
Sie passen besonders gut zu den Handschuhen und dem Pullover der Eisbrecher-Kollektion.
Material
Vierfädige Sockenwolle mit einer Maschenprobe von ca. 30 Maschen auf 10 cm. Wir empfehlen z.B. Lana Grossa Meilenweit oder Cool Wool 4 Socks, Regia Premium Silk oder Merino Yak, oder jedes andere vierfädige Sockengarn.

Die Maschenrprobe bei diesen Socken beträgt 28 M auf 10 cm. Bei mir entspricht das einer Nadelstärke von 3,5 mm.

These socks are worked in the round from the top down with a classic cap heel and a two-colour pattern throughout.
They go particularly well with the gloves and sweater from the Icebreaker collection.

4-ply sock yarn, e.g. Lana Grossa Cool Wool 4 Socks, Regia Premium Silk or Merino Yak, or any other 4-ply sock yarn.

Gauge
28 sts = 10 cm (4”).
With multi-coloured socks, you have to pay close attention to the gauge and, if in doubt, choose a larger needle size. The floats of the contrast color make the sock is significantly less stretchy than single-colored socks.
For comparison: I knit socks with the same number of stitches, with one colour and a lace pattern, using needle size 2.0. For these multi-colored socks I had to use a size 3.0 needle to get the sock over the heel.
We recommend you try the sock on after one or two pattern repeats to make sure that it fits over the heel.
