Eisir meaning Oyster in Scottish Gaelic is an intermediate level scarf which contains a beautiful and delicate mixture of lacy shells and simple cables inspired by the Scottish shores and sea lochs.
It can be adjusted to your liking by adding or subtracting lace pattern row repeats and completing as many pattern repeats as you wish.
As it is a rectangular scarf gauge isn’t too much of an issue and although the sample given was worked up in a single skein of Sealy MacWheely Water you can easily extend the pattern with a second skein for a longer scarf.
This pattern has been designed specially for Sealy MacWheely by Glesga Yarntie, Audrey
