either or is a unisex cowl knit in three pieces with two different weights of yarn. Section 1 is knit in brioche with worsted weight, and the two identical Section 2 pieces are a simple mesh / lace pattern made with fingering yarn. It was designed for KeithLeonard / knits all done’s exclusive colorway “Keep Calm Keith” for Zen Yarn Garden, available here.

Materials:

128 meters / 140 yards worsted weight yarn
393 meters / 430 yards fingering weight yarn
4.5 millimeter / US size 7 needles
3 millimeter / US size 2 needles
tapestry needle

Brioche knitting - Check out Nancy Marchant’s website for a wealth of helpful information on this endlessly pleasurable style of knitting.

Lace / Mesh - This pattern is a great introduction to lace or mesh knitting, as it employs some of the simpler mesh stitch patterns.
