Eivissa - a breezy summer shirt.
Eivissa is the capital of the Spanish Balearic island of Ibiza.
So I’m taking you on a summer knitting trip to Ibiza. The special thing about this shirt is that it is breezy and airy. The textured pattern with holes allows any light breeze to cool the body. And the loose fit with a significant positive ease ensures that nothing is tight and it feels comfortable to wear.

The summer shirt is worked in two parts from the top down. Start at the neckband and knit the front piece first in RS and WS rows.
Then pick up stitches from the cast-on at the top and knit the back in the same way as the front.
Then work an rib pattern on both sides to join the front and back pieces. Then knit the bottom cuff and the sleeve cuffs.

Eivissa – ein luftiges Sommershirt
Eivissa ist die Hauptstadt der spanischen Baleareninsel Ibiza.
Ich nehme Euch also mit auf eine sommerliche Strickreise nach Ibiza. Das Besondere an diesem Shirt ist, dass es luftig und leicht ist. Das Strukturmuster mit Löchern bietet jeder leichten Brise die Möglichkeit, den Körper zu kühlen. Und die lockere Passform mit deutlicher Mehrweite sorgt dafür, dass nichts eng anliegt und man ein angenehmes Tragegefühl hat.

Das Sommershirt wird in zwei Teilen von oben nach unten gestrickt. Du beginnst am Halsbündchen und arbeitest zuerst die Vorderseite in Hin- und Rückreihen.
Danach nimmst Du aus dem Maschenanschlag oben Maschen auf und strickst das Rückteil auf die gleiche Art wie das Vorderteil.
Im Anschluss verbindest Du die beiden Teile seitlich mit einem Rippenmuster. Danach kommen das untere sowie die beiden Ärmelbündchen.
