El Castillo
This shawl has been especially designed for Diana’s Changes MAL that will be hosted on Diana’s Ravelry Group from Aug 1 to Sep 15, 2023.
“El Castillo” is a Mayan step-pyramid that dominates the center of the Chichen Itza archaeological site in the Mexican state of Yucatán.
The “El Castillo” Shawl is worked top down in two colors, using
slip- stitch technique (Mosaic).
The sample in the first picture has been knit with 1321.36 yd – 1208.25 m total of Dyedianadye TussaLin, a light fingering 65% Silk - Tussah / 35% Cellulose - Linen / Flax
(756 yd – 691 m on 4.06 oz – 115 g), and needles size 3.25 mm - US size 3.
Colors and yardage used for the sample in the first picture:
Color A “Mojave”: 716.56 yd – 655.22 m.
Color B “Poppy”: 604.8yd – 553.03 m.

Color A : Key Largo
Color B: Lime.
