Elain is the first, in a trio of shawls designed in collaboration indie dyer Angela of Pretty Twisted Knots.

The shawls and yarn are inspired by the book series “A Court of Thorn and Roses” by Sarah Maas.

Inspiration for the Elain comes from the character, Elain. It is a simple, delicate, slightly ornate shawl, focusing on the character’s love of her garden but also her strength.

This crescent shaped shawl, with slightly tipped wings, has eyelet lace, in the shape of flowers with a strong but delicate border.

I hope you love the first of our trio of shawls as much as we did when designing both the shawl and the colourways.

This pattern has been tested.
