The ultimate cozy turtleneck sweater, the Elaine Sweater is worked sideways and in panels. It calls for bulky weight yarn and a 6.5 mm hook making it a quick project to put together. The design itself features tapered sleeves and neckline shaping, both worked with short rows. The split hem is another design feature allowing for a comfortable range of mobility even with a long sweater. The stitch used is on the more dense side which does mean it’s a bit of a yarn eater, but the end result is a plush and ribbed texture that provides a lot of warmth.

SIZING
This pattern comes with instructions for 9 sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL) ranging from bust circumferences of 28-62 in 71-158 cm. The sweater is intended to be worn with 4-6 in 10-15 cm of positive ease, but the size guide and measurements for the sweater itself can be found within the pattern.

(other suggested yarns include Gepard Garn Puno, Knit Picks Wonderfluff, or Rauma Puno but most bulky weight yarns should work)
Hook: K/6.5 mm crochet hook or any other hook needed to obtain the gauge listed in the pattern
Other: Stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, tape measure
