One of the best things about the fall and winter months are the changing colours, snow falling, and drinking hot tea on the coldest days. This mug cozy is perfect for keeping tea warm on your walk to work, school, or whatever adventure you are on, while also keeping your hands from getting too warm.
One size. Fits an average travel mug (without handle) or average disposable coffee cup.
Skills Required:
- Cast on in the round
- Cableing
- Stockinette stitch (in the round)
- Reverse stockinette stitch (in the round)
- 2x2 ribbing (in the round)
Materials:
- 4.5mm (7US) dpns, or size required to meet gauge
- 1 skein (100g/220yds) Cascade 220, or other worsted weight yarn Note: only part of a skein is required, approx. 10g
- One cable needle
- Darning needle
Gauge in stockinette stitch is 5 stitches and 7.5 rows / inch.
