There are hundreds of comfort / prayer / meditation shawl variations and I have made dozens over the years. I developed this pattern to be adjustable because I tend to customize the ones I make to incorporate numbers that are meaningful to the person I make them for.

This particular version of my go-to pattern was inspired by my friend, Elaine, as she went through a particularly difficult loss.

This pattern could easily be used to make a scarf, throw, or blanket simply by adding repeats.

Stitches used: Chain, Double Crochet
