The Elara Cardigan is a fuzzy oversized cardigan with a simple cable motif, saddle shoulder construction and lateral braid details. The fuzzy yarn was intentionally selected to give the cables a soft and less defined appearance. The cardigan is worked top down, where the body is worked flat and the sleeves are worked in the round. Pockets are also included for an additional cozy touch.

This pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters or advanced beginners looking to learn some new techniques.

SIZING
The Elara Cardigan is designed to be worn with approximately 10-12 in / 25.5-30.-5 cm of positive ease, meaning the circumference of the cardigan when buttoned is approximately 10-12 in / 25.5-30.-5 cm larger than your bust.

YARN

The green sample was knit with Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk held double stranded. The blue sample was knit with Drops Melody.
