Approximately 80 yards of elastic yarn. (The amount of yarn will vary depending on the size of the person’s head and yarn used; this pattern produced a nice headband 19 inches long and 2.5 inches wide using elastic yarn from Withers Wool and Farm.) The “magic” of this very nice and soft headband was the use of elastic yarn made by core spinning kid mohair onto elastic thread.
