This Elba Beanie uses the fair isle technique for simple “tiny heart” color work. It is written with instructions for both single and double brim versions of this beanie and is written in four sizes ranging from baby to adult. It is a pattern for beginners/intermediate beginners.

What you will need:
62 (68, 75, 81) yd (57, 69, 74 m) in “color 1” and 5 (6, 6, 7 yd) (4.5, 5.5, 5.5, 6.5 m) in “color 2” of any bulky weight yarn (like We Are Knitters The Petite Wool)
25 yd (23 m) in either color yarn for pompom (optional) -or-
A faux fur pompom (optional)
Size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cable
1 stitch marker
Tapestry yarn needle
Scissors
Pompom maker (optional)

Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate beginner

Skills needed: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, basic fair isle color work, binding off, knitting in the round.
