WHAT YOU NEED
• 8 x 50g balls of yarn, in a lighter colour
• 8 x 50g balls of yarn, in a darker colour
• 1 pair of knitting needles in the size recommended for your yarn

For the example pictured, I used 5½ mm needles and Rowan Purelife British Sheep Breeds Fine Boucle yarn, which knits up as a bulky weight yarn

8 x 50g ball Brown Masham
8 x 50g ball Ecru Masham
This gave an approximate finished (blocked) size of 34 inches / 89 cm wide and 45.5 inches / 117 cm long

Other yarn weights and needle sizes can be used to make different sizes of blanket
