This pattern came about because there was beautiful lace weight yarn on clearance at my LYS. I came home with two hanks; the first became Canary Tango. That lace tank top turned out so well, I decided to try my hand at another. The lace pattern and strap style I chose took a bit of negotiating to get to work how I envisioned, but I persisted. Due to the very large repeat of the lace pattern, and the way the straps are made as extensions of the pattern, this top would take a lot of alteration to adjust the size. So, here it is as a free pattern for one size. If you undertake the daunting task of resizing it, I would love to hear how you did it.

The top is made without any shaping, letting the stretchiness of the lace shape it to the body. The finished garment will stretch to fit up to ~38” around

Size: One size (U.S. women’s small)

Materials: ~500 yards lace weight yarn (model uses one hank of Neighborhood Fiber Co. Capital Luxury Lace); U.S. #6 circular needle; yarn needle or small crochet hook

Gauge: 1 chart repeat = 7” wide and 8” tall
