Fans of the Disney show Phineas and Ferb will recognize these little guys as the fictional Japanese toys that are all the rage for the citizens of Danville. Each Bango Ru is a cross between two different animals and has features of both.

This pattern will allow you to make an adorable Ele-Bee, a charming mix of elephant and bee. The finished toy will measure approximately 11 inches tall and 7 inches wide from arm to arm. This is an intermediate pattern. To complete it you will need:

• size H (5 mm) crochet hook
• 6 colors of worsted weight yarn. About ½ a skein of purple, and scraps of white, black, green, and yellow
• polyester stuffing
• embroidery thread
• tapestry needle
