I am so excited for these versions of my boba pets! This intermediate level pattern includes instructions for both the electric mouse & fire lizard bobas. Your finished boba pets will vary in size based on materials used and tension, but my bobas end up being around 12-14 inches tall.

Except where indicated, we’ll work in continuous rounds. As with most amigurumi, this pattern can be worked up in any yarn you choose. Just be sure to select a matching hook size for your yarn. Keep in mind, the yarn you select for the straw & boba should be 2 sizes smaller than the cup/lid yarn or your proportions will be off. For example, I used a 6 weight yarn for the cup & lid, and a 4 weight yarn for the boba dots, straw, and facial details.

Bernat blanket - 1 skein - cranberry, taupe, & coal
Bernat baby blanket - 1 skein - white & buttercup
worsted weight acrylic - 1 skein - black, white, yellow & red

Fire Lizard
Bernat blanket brights - 1 skein - carrot orange
Bernat blanket - 1 - skein - coal & cranberry
Bernat baby blanket - 1 skein - white
worsted weight acrylic - 1 skein - black, white, red, orange, yellow & green
wire pet slicker brush for brushing out the tail’s flame tip

You will have plenty of leftovers of each color, so you can share the same skein of repeat colors if you’re making both.
