This hat is a sweet little cloche with two color purl bump textured stripes. The asymmetry of the striping adds to the fun. This design would work well with short remnants in your stash. No need for any of the stripes to match!

In order to maintain the integrity of the design the height to the crown is the same for all of the different sizes of this hat. Consequently, the smaller sizes will be a more slouchy hat than the larger sizes. You can adapt the pattern by removing a stripe or two of your choice to make the hat shorter. You can also remove a rnd between the stripes to lengthen the height. Play with it. No matter what you decide, the resulting hat will be aesthetically pleasing.
