S (L) to fit adult hand with 17-19cm / 61/2 -71/2 in (21-2cm / 8-9in) circumference
Pattern notes
These mittens are worked from bottom to top. After
the corrugated rib cuff, the hand is worked in stranded colourwork with stitches inserted for an afterthought thumb. Fingers and thumb are completed, before finishing the flip- top, continuing the colourwork seamlessly. The mitten top is finished with an i-cord loop and attached with a simple-to-make woven button.
