I was inspired by failed attempts to look for cropped evening jackets that were light enough to be comfortable but warm enough to wear in Autumn in the style of a formal jacket which would normally be made from silk or some other luxurious material.

This is a design which requires patience and attention to detail. The shaping is quite detailed, although not difficult. The sewing up of the arms to jacket requires some experience of setting in sleeves.
