I love cables. I love socks. While that may not say much for me as a person, as a knitter it says that I am never happier than when I am combining complicated twists and turns with lovely yarn to create garments for the feet. These socks have cables that give the socks some structure, and slipped stitches that give some grace to the sock, and show off the color change of the yarn. But not everyone is in love with cables, so I wanted to give knitters who might be new to socks, or new to cables, a pattern that would be fun and exciting, but not require Pepto Bismol. And for those who are in love with both cables and socks this should be dinner, dessert, and a movie!
