Pattern uses ch, sl st, sc,and hdc, as well as long split single crochet and 3 shell sts, which are explained in the pattern.

Requires:
-bulky weight yarn (MC): 23 oz./645 g (705 yds./645 m)
-worsted weight yarn: 13 oz/370 g (665 yds./610 m)
-lace weight yarn or thread: 23 yds./26 m
-fingering weight yarn (alternately split worsted weight in half): 1 oz./29 g (52 yds./48 m)
-red yarn (DK, worsted, or bulky weight): 5 yds./4.75 m
-3/8”/9 mm white ribbon: 2 yds./1.8 m
-Yarn needle
-White thread
-Sewing needle

Gauge: Center: 9 sts X 6 ½ rows in hdc = 4”/10.25 cm. White stripe: 18 sts X 23 rows in sc = 4”/10.25 cm. Leaves should be about 1 ¾”/4.5 cm long.
