This oversized raglan cardigan was designed for the #10016 Elemental brochure by Sirdar. With larger needles, the new Elemental yarn, and stocking stitch, the pieces are quickly worked and seamed together to create a practical garment. The deep v neck shawl collar in garter stitch, raglan sleeves, 2 patch pockets. and body-wrapping width make use of the thick and thin yarn’s resulting texture.

TENSION

• 10 sts and 19 rows to 10cm/4in (sq) over pattern stitch on 8mm needles.
• 10 sts and 13 rows to 10cm/4in (sq) over stocking stitch on 10mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
