Earth and Air are done in a hand dyed fingering weight yarn with an accent of 3 strands of zephyr lace weight worked as one strand. They are both variations of the Madeira lace stitch. Earth is worked in two sections beginning with the cast-on edge. Both sections are grafted at the centre back. Air is worked from the bottom up. Tassels are applied when finished.
