Whilst “crochet doodling” I came up with the title of Elements for this crocheted square because I used my favourite “elements”, or stitches. The pattern is written using UK crochet terms. An intermediate crochet skill level is needed.

The photograph illustrates the square made with Stylecraft Special Double Knitting weight yarn and a 4.00mm crochet hook. But don’t feel you have to use the exact same yarn. Use your favourite yarn and favourite sized hook.
