Super cute unique baby booties for the tiny people in your life. With the right yarn, the finished result balance nicely between sturdy and soft, making it a nice “accessorie” for baby feet.
Sizes
0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-15 months
Yarn suggestions
Any Aran weight yarn that fits with gauge will do. If you don’t know which to choose, I suggest using good quality Aran wool mix superwash yarn. Wool has a warming and enduring quality and still allows the skin to breathe. Superwashed wool can also be mashine washed which is practical for the parents.
Construction
The booties are worked in the round, in one piece, starting from the sole and ending with a pretty shell stitch pattern and picots on top. You can make them with or without bow ties depending on your or your receivers preference ;)
Pattern
The pattern is simple and straightforward. It is divided into clear sections and is very easy to read and follow. It also includes Photo instructions for some of the tricky parts
Gauge
Is listed for each size in the pattern, based on the 3 first rounds
Skill level: advanced beginner. This pattern is fairly easy to make, but I don’t recommend it to complete beginners.
Time to complete: 1,5 - 2 hours the first couple of times. With a little practice you can make a pair of booties in only 1 hour.
