Construction : Eleonore shawl starts at the center back of the neck with a garter tab and is knit down to the bottom edge. After the body is completed, a knitted-on border is attached at right angles to the body.

Pattern is both written and charted.

Size and yardage : I used approximately 555 yards (507 m) of lace weight yarn and my shawl ended up to be 61,02” (155 cm) wide by 27,56 (70 cm) deep after blocking.

Construction : Le châle Eléonore est tricoté du haut vers le bas puis la bordure est ajoutée perpendiculairement au corps du châle et raccordée 1 rang sur 2 en tricotant ensemble une maille du corps du châle avec une maille de la bordure.

Après blocage, il mesure environ 155 sur 70 cm.
