This pattern only requires basic crochet stitches. However, it has some small parts and therefore is recommended for someone who is comfortable in handling small crochet parts. Using fingering yarn with 2.5mm hook will produce an elephant of about 9.5cm/3.7in tall. You can use a thicker yarn to make a larger elephant or use a thinner yarn to make a smaller elephant.

-Mint yarn
-Blue yarn
-Red yarn
-Pink yarn
-Black embroidery thread
-Stuffing
-Crochet Hook 2.5mm (or a hook size suitable for your yarn)
-Felting needle + pink felting wool OR pink felt and glue
