Did you know that elephants are the largest animals that live on land? They purr to communicate, just like cats! Elephants are the only mammal that can’t jump, and just like how humans are right or left handed, elephants are right or left tusked!

Rafael the Elephant can be made in a variety of sizes just by changing the yarn and hooks used. Made up of individual pieces that are then sewn together, this pattern is very beginner friendly!

The original Rafael the Elephant was made with worsted weight yarn and a 4.5mm hook and measures 5.5” tall x 6” tall x 8.5” long. The pattern includes suggestions on other yarn and hook sizes you can use to make different sized elephants.
