Happy to share with you my Elephant Baby Rattle!

The elephant head, proboscis, and mouth are crocheted in one single piece. Only the ears are crocheted separately and then sewed on the elephant head.

The pattern for the rectangular piece to sew on the wooden ring is written for a ring of 7-cm (2.75”) diameter.

If you do not want to use safety eyes for amigurumi’s, you can embroider them instead.

For this pattern, I used Rio cotton yarn from Lammy Yarns, but any equivalent cotton yarn can be used, like for example Schachenmayr Catania.
