Once finished, Elly stands at approximately 6.7”/17 cm high, provided the same yarn weight is used.
Materials required include:
- A 100% cotton yarn in your chosen color (1.75oz/50g is approximately 137yds/125m). I’ve used “Vita Cotton Lily” originally, but you may also substitute with “Scheepjes Catona” or “Alpina Anabel”. Just make sure that it aligns with the original proportions. The gauge should be 26 sc and 25 rows equivalent to 4 inches.
- Yardage is approximately 123yds/113m.
- 15-20yds/13-18m CC yarn.
- 2mm and 2.5mm crochet hook.
- Safety eyes with 8 mm diameter.
- Stuffing material.
- Scissors
- Black embroidery yarn.
The pattern uses the following abbreviations:
BOR - beginning of round

inc - increase (2sc in one st)
dc – double crochet
BLO - back loop only
foll – follow(ing)(s)
rep - repeat
rem - remain(ing)
cont – continue
The number in parenthesis at the end of each rnd signifies the total number of sts in the rnd.
