Intermediate Level
To make this cocoon you will need to know how to chain (ch), single crochet (Sc), half double crochet (hdc) double crochet (dc) slip stitch (slst), increase (inc), half double crochet two together (hdc2tog), double crochet two together (dctog), decrease (dec), work in the round, and work in rows, make a magic circle.

Measurements:
Cocoon should measure 24” circumference and 20” length
Hat should be 11.5”-13” circumference and 5.5”-6” height (A great site for hat measurements is Bev’s website.)

Materials:
4.0mm crochet hook (If you are a tight crocheter, you may need to go up a hook size! Keep in mind the measurements above. To ensure you have the correct circumference, after all increase rounds the piece should measure 7.5” across, hat should measure 4” across.)
