I love the elephant and heart nursery theme and just had to create a handmade baby blanket to match. Also, I have been wanting to design a detailed square style blanket that is worked around. So, I put the two together and came up with this super cute beauty.

The blanket pattern is not for a beginner, but rather a more experienced Crocheter. However, once you get into the swing of the pattern, and see how the blanket grows, you will have no problem making this blanket any size you wish!

This blanket is perfect for either a boy or a girl! It works very well with the Two Tone Sweater Set pattern to make a lovey layette set for a complete baby shower gift too!
