This adorable sun hat is designed around a parade of baby elephants. The construction starts out with the sun hat brim to which the elephant parade is added. The top section of the hat is made separately before the two pieces are joined together. Accents are added with lines of color to match the elephants, both above and below the parade. The hat is finished off with a row of backward single crochet to create a sturdy brim edge. This hat is enjoyable to make for the intermediate crocheter and can be made in any size using the included chart.
