These socks are worked from the toe-up with a heel flap, gusset, and rounded heel. The heel construction is worked in the same order as it would be for a top-down sock, but the slipped- stitch heel flap is positioned under the bottom of the foot instead of behind the achilles area. The design finishes with a short twisted ribbed cuff, though all of the lengths are fully adjustable. Make a longer leg and longer cuff if you wish, or sub in your preferred cuff of choice if twisted ribbing isn’t your thing!
