Finished size: the elephant is approximately 13 cm (5.1 inches) sitting and 17.5 cm (6.9 inches) total if using DK weight yarn.
The pattern includes:

You will need:
• 8 ply / DK / light worsted weight yarn in Grey and Cream
• small amount of 8 ply / DK / light worsted weight yarn in Yellow for bow
• 2 black safety eyes (Ø 6 mm / 0.25 inches) for each elephant
• soft stuffing (e.g., Polyfill)
• crochet hook size 2.25 mm (US B) or 2.5 mm
• stitch marker, long tapestry needle, scissors, and sewing pins
Level: Intermediate. Basic skills of crocheting are needed.
You should know, how to crochet these stitches:
• Chain (ch)
• Slip stitch (sl st)
• Single crochet (sc)
• Half double crochet (hdc)
• Double crochet (dc)
• Increasing (inc): 2 sc in the same stitch
• Decreasing (dec): crochet 2 stitches together
