You can make three different sizes of elephant - a large elephant for a child to hug; a medium-sized elephant, to be clutched in one hand; and a baby elephant, who can hide away in a pocket. By using a textured yarn and making longer tusks, hey presto! You’ve got a mammoth!

Pattern variations are given for the mammoths to be made in the large or medium sizes.
