Elephants and Ducks Blankets 8257
Designed in Cotton DK, both of these baby blankets feature the use of crochet filet to create lovely motifs of elephants and ducks. Charts and written instructions for both motifs are provided in the pamphlet. Measurements of each motif are given below.
TENSION
For both blankets:
The Ravelry information uses the 4.0mm size as stated in the pattern. Per the pamphlet: 4.00 (UK8 – USAF/5) Crochet Hook.
Elephant Blanket
(Worked sideways)
18 sts and 10 rows to 10cm, (4in) over mesh pattern on 4.00 hook. Motif: 29 sts and 16 rows to 16cm (6¼in) on 4.00 hook or the size required to give correct tension.
Duck Blanket
16 sts and 10 rows to 10cm, (4in) over treble pattern. Motif 41 sts and 22 rows should measure 22cm, (8¾in) square on 4.00 hook or the size required to give correct tension.
