With bulky/chunky weight yarn (or two strands of light worsted from your stash held double), the Eleventh Hour Hat sports two different cables which alternate on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.
Size: Adult medium
For head circumference: 22-23”/55.75 -58.5 cm
Length: 8”/20.25 cm unstretched
Gauge
16 sts/22 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch knit flat
Tip: If you only have 140 yds in your skein and want to be sure you’ll have enough yarn, swatch for this hat by casting on 15 sts and working 15 rows in st st. Block lightly and measure 1” – if it is 4 sts and 5.5 rows, you are good to go!
