The pattern covers three different sizes, from baby/dog/child to adult so the whole family can wear them for all the Christmas parties…

Suitable for intermediate knitters, this hat is knit in two parts – the ‘crown’ and the main hat and then they are stitched together to create the elf style. Designed to be knit in our delicious Super Chunky Merino yarn, so if you’ve got a stash already you can download the pattern straight away and get knitting. Who wouldn’t love to wear this?!

Each hat takes a few hours to knit up and then you’ve got the best hat for hours of festive fun – parties, work events, family dinners or even the boxing day walk, this hat is so comfortable and cosy you’ll be able to keep it on all day!

Hat Sizes:
Small (baby/child): Circumference 32cm (+ stretch), height 26cm with pompom

Medium (teenager/small adult): Circumference 42cm (+ stretch), height 32cm with pompom

Large (adult): Circumference 56cm (+ stretch), height 38cm with pompom

10mm circular knitting needles (40cm long)
