For this wreath I used Stylecraft special Aran but any Aran will work for this pattern.

White (wreath cover ) 50g
Red (Hat) 85g
Green (Hat )70g
Parchment (Nose and Ears) 30g
White chunky yarn ( Beard )40g
Small amount of Toy stuffing for your gnome nose
20cm polystyrene wreath.
Bell or pom pom for the tip of the hat

Finished size
Height 45cm/18 inches (with hat folded over)
Width 28cm/11inches

This pattern uses US terms and is worked in a spiral so using stitch markers is highly recommended
Ch = chain stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Sc2tog = single crochet decrease
FLO = Front loop only
BLO = Back loop only
P= Picot stitch
Sh = Shell stitch

I used a 20cm/8 inch wreath ring but you could use a different sizes you may just need to make the wreath cover bigger and make a ew more increases on the hat.

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge.
It is written in US terms but easy to convert to UK.
